Building Description

200 West Madison is a 45 story, 928,000 square foot Class A office building constructed in 1983. Strategically located in Chicago's Central Business District at the corner of Madison and Wells Streets, the building is steps away from the City's elevated, subway, bus, and Metra train stations.  At street level, a soaring 3 story glass-encased atrium lobby streams sunlight into the building and showcases the notable Louis Nevelson sculpture, “Dawn Shadows”.  From the tower floors, dramatic views showcase the Chicago skyline. Continuous attention to energy management, and best practices employed by Transwestern have resulted in this 1980’s building achieving the LEED Silver Certification, and the prestigious BOMA 360 designation.
